We turn now to God in prayer asking him for all our needs.

We pray for this indifferent and unbelieving world that it may hear Christ’s message of salvation and hope. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

For the Salvatorian Friests to continue to continue to offer hope to a materialistic world often consumed by its passion. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

We pray for the Salvatorian Sisters and Brothers in their work of service to the world. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

For all those engaged in missionary work that they will continue to be fruitful in their ministry. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

For the Salvatorian community and school in Nazareth in the Holy Land that they may continue their work for Christ despite the many difficulties they face. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

We pray that the Lay Salvatorians continue to grow rapidly in numbers and give authentic witness to the Divine Saviour in the particular circumstances of their lives. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

We pray for the Beatification of Father Francis Jordan the founder of the Salvatorians so that following his example many more people will come to know the Saviour. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

We pray for the all those who have died especially the members of our own families, this parish and the Salvatorian Order. (pause) Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

We ask Mary, Mother of the Saviour, to join her prayers to ours as we say Hail Mary…

We pray for a few moments in the silence of our hearts…

God our loving Father, we ask you to listen to all our prayers because we make them in faith and in the name of your Son Jesus who is Lord for ever and ever. Amen.
