As we come to the Second Sunday in Advent, we place our confidence in you Lord, to answer our petitions.
Reader:
Isaiah writes in the First Reading - " Prepare a way for the Lord "
Let us pray that we will let God show us the right way.
Lord in your Mercy .......................
St. Peter says in the Second Reading that the Lord is being patient with us, wanting nobody to be lost.
Let us pray that God will be patient with us and that His Patience will be rewarded.
Lord in your Mercy .......................
Kingsley Fulbrook and Lawrence McCarthy, who are preparing for the Permanent Diaconate, will receive the Ministry of Reader on Friday 13th of December.
Let us pray for them and do all we can to support them in their vocation.
Lord in your Mercy .......................
Sisters Mary Clare Hart and Paulette Joseph leave us on 9th December, but we will be able to say our farewells on Sunday 8th, when Salvatorians renew their vows.
Let us pray that the Lord will bless them and help them to be able to do the Lord's work wherever they are needed.

This is a busy time for our clergy and those in other curches, preparing for Christmas.
Let us pray that all our church leaders and especially Father Alex, Father Charles and Sister Josephine, will be able to help us celebrate a Joyful and Peaceful Christmas.

On Monday the Feast of the Immaculate
Conception will be held, let us ask Our Lady to pray for us - HAIL MARY .....................
