Sharpness Docks
Our parish Apostleship of the Sea group was started on 14th November 2003 for ministry in the Port of Sharpness which falls within the Parish of Christ the King, Thornbury.
We have four teams of two members and each team visits the port once a fortnight, so ships are visited twice each week.
Our Ship Visitors are: Bernadette Bertagne, Alan Brown, Joan Brown, Sally Cunningham, Bob Hetherton, Brian Hobbs, Joe McHugh and Pat Morrissey. Mike Sellers assists in a support capacity and our Port Chaplain is the parish priest, Father Alex McAllister SDS.
